Legally, this separates ownership and management of your asset. Just the same you still manage the asset via the deed as you are the beneficiary of the asset in the trust plan and are entitled to the profit generated form it just as before - only now with the many benefits of being held in trust

You set the terms and conditions in the Trust Deed:

Investment by using the asset under your trust plan

Distribution assets

Disbursement of the profit or loss generated from assets

Settlement of payments generated from assets

Operating your Trust

Trust have been around for centuries in all parts of the world. Used extensively by wealthy individuals and institutions, trusts have been used famously by families to maintain wealth through generations (i.e. Rockefellers, Bill Gates, Li Ka Shing, etc)

Trust Laws established in 1903, Hong Kong’s is now a global leader in trust services, offering perpetual trusts since 1970 (even foreign trusts do not expire)

Trusts are an integral part of the financial centre in Hong Kong. Understanding your needs, MWL helps you safeguard, grow, and provide a succession plan for your assets so that you can benefit from features of the trust for generations to come.

For example, you can stipulate in the trust deed that:

1. Cash investment in fixed deposit or bond to safeguard your wealth

2. Investment in real estate, equity shares (listed or private) for capital growth

3. Transfer part of or all of your asset or the profit generated from your wealth to your spouse or children when they fulfill certain pre-requisites, giving them financial independence.

4. You, as the de facto owner of the wealth, can set many different pre-requisites in the trust deed.

You set the terms and conditions in the Trust Deed:

When you put your asset into a trust plan, you are the settlor and you designate a Trustee (Musa Wealth Ltd.)

You will still own the asset under trust and will be entitled to the interest, profit generated from it by setting the mechanism of trust operation and making yourself the beneficiary of the asset in the trust plan.

The Trustee (i.e. a trust company) is a professional legal entity that provides you with the trust plan for wealth management. The trustee is only qualified to provide a trust plan and manage your wealth after obtaining a trustee license from the government and, thus, is subject to supervision by regulatory authorities.

In order to receive the wealth management benefits of the trust, you will transfer your wealth into a Trust Plan provided by Musa Wealth Ltd. By law, this makes MWL the owner of your wealth.
